Rare russian eurodance album. First time on CD. Limited to 100 copies.
The Antenn MC group was organized in Krasnodar in 1992 by musician and producer Max Verkhovsky as an experimental electronic project. At first, the vocalist Elena Drugai joined the band. The first tracks of the band are recorded, such as No Name. In 1994, rapper Jem Polyakov joined the project, as a result of which the team acquired a classic line-up and took a course towards the modern Eurodance style. The first track recorded in a new way was “Give Me The Light”. The group was invited to St. Petersburg by Gennady Bachinsky, a well-known radio presenter from the famous radio station "Radio Modern". There, the group also meets Dmitry Nagiyev, who also worked at that time on this radio, and who began to conduct concerts of the collective in the future. Under the patronage of Bachinsky, who became the producer of the group, the guys moved to St. Petersburg and began to actively perform live on the stages of St. Petersburg and Moscow clubs. The group's tracks are rotated on the hot charts of Radio Modern and other radio stations. In 1996, the group's debut album entitled "In Heaven" was released, on which, in addition to the already existing hits, such action films as "Bona Sera" and a dance cover of the hit gr. Alliance "At Dawn". The cover for the album was also done at that moment by an employee of Radio Modern Sergey Shnurov. Unfortunately the album is released only in compact cassette format.
The group continues to actively tour. The composition You Belong To Me is included in the iconic compilation from Radio Maximum "Maxidance 2". The group receives an offer from Alexander Shulgin and goes to his label Bekar. But unfortunately, due to the crisis, the group manages to release only a video for the song You Belong To Me, after which the cooperation actually ends. Due to the busy touring schedule, the group devotes little time to studio work. During this period, the group managed to record and release the single Midnight of Minds in cassette format with a very experimental sound. The last track in the classical Eurodance key will be the track Voice Of Real, released on compilations in 1999. Having delved into spiritual practices, Rapper Jem leaves the group. Max Verkhovsky turns to production. In 2000, Antenn MC gave their last concert and the group ceased to exist.
In 2004, having agreed to the offer of British producers, Max Verkhovsky recorded a new track under the name Antenn Mc - Love Is A Battlefield, but the project has no continuation, and the track remains a single release.
